Payment terms: We offer free trials and various paid plans. Subscriptions auto-renew but you can cancel anytime. Fees are generally non-refundable.
Your responsibilities: Only upload content you have the right to use. Don't use our service for anything illegal or harmful. Keep your account secure.
Service limitations: We provide the service "as is" - while we strive for accuracy, we can't guarantee perfect results every time. We're not liable for indirect damages.

scanned.to provides a state-of-the-art platform that uses artificial intelligence to convert scanned documents (such as PDFs and images) into editable, searchable, and translatable digital formats. The service is designed to retain the original document's layout and formatting with high accuracy. We offer various service tiers, including a direct conversion tool, subscription plans, and an API for enterprise integration.
To access certain features, you may need to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You retain full ownership and all intellectual property rights to the documents and content you upload to the Platform.
By uploading User Content, you grant scanned.to a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to temporarily store, process, modify, and transmit the User Content solely for the purpose of providing the conversion and translation services you request. This license terminates automatically after the service is rendered and the content is deleted from our active servers as described in our Privacy Policy.
If you actively choose to save or share your User Content on the Platform, you grant us a persistent license to store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as directed by you through your account settings. You are solely responsible for managing the sharing settings and permissions for your content.
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to upload your User Content and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or laws. You agree not to upload any content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on any intellectual property rights.
You agree to pay all fees or charges to your Account in accordance with the fees, charges, and billing terms in effect at the time a fee is due. We use a third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe) to handle payment transactions.
If you purchase a subscription, it will automatically renew for additional periods of the same duration as the initial term at our then-current fee. You agree that your payment method will be charged for this renewal feature.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. The cancellation will take effect at the end of your current paid term.
Except when required by law, all fees are non-refundable.
Our fees are exclusive of all taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities. You are responsible for payment of all such taxes.
You agree not to use the Platform to engage in any activity that is illegal, infringes on the rights of others, or interferes with the operation of the Service. Prohibited activities include reverse-engineering the Platform, introducing malware, or using the service for any fraudulent purpose.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Platform (excluding User Content), including its software, design, and trademarks, are and will remain the exclusive property of scanned.to and its licensors.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our discretion, without notice, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease.
The Platform is provided "AS IS." We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that the results of the conversion will be 100% accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, scanned.to shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Platform.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
